Frequently Asked Questions

$195 per 50-minute session, with payment due at the time of service.
I accept major credit cards, FSA, and HSA.
-
I do not take insurance directly. My practice is private pay.
If you have out-of-network benefits, you may be eligible for partial reimbursement from your insurance company. Please note that reimbursement is not guaranteed.
Upon request, I am happy to provide a monthly superbill with the information typically required by insurance companies, including a mental health diagnosis.
Tip: Contact your insurance company and ask:
Do I have out-of-network mental health benefits for telehealth psychotherapy sessions? If so, what is my reimbursement percentage?
What is my deductible? Has it been met?
Are there limits on the number of sessions per year?
How do I submit a superbill for potential reimbursement?

I work best with high achieving clients seeking support for burnout, anxiety, or caregiver stress. My approach is structured and evidence-based, incorporating mindfulness, values exploration, and identifying thought patterns. I may also suggest “homework” or reflection between sessions, as much of the therapeutic work happens outside of sessions.
This may not be the best fit if you prefer a less structured approach.
-
Yes. While I support a range of anxiety and depressive disorders, I may refer out to a specialized provider for conditions such as eating disorders, OCD, ADHD assessments, substance use disorders, or psychosis (including hallucinations). This helps ensure you receive the most appropriate level of care for your needs.
-

Most clients begin with weekly sessions for at least the first several weeks. As progress is made, sessions may transition to every other week.
Some individuals meet their goals in a shorter timeframe and return to therapy as needed in the future. Others benefit from more consistent, longer-term support.
We’ll work together to tailor a plan that fits your goals and supports your individual needs.
-
To respect everyone’s time and ensure appointment availability, clients are required to cancel or reschedule sessions with at least 24 hours’ notice.
Your credit card on file may be charged the full session fee for Late Cancellations and No-Shows. The full policy is available for new clients to review prior to their first appointment.
-
I do not provide letters or complete forms for work, housing, disability, or ESA letters. These requests are out of the scope of services provided by this practice.
The only exception is a brief attendance verification letter for your sessions, provided at my discretion for a fee ($25). The full policy is available for new clients to review prior to their first appointment.
-
My practice is telehealth-only and fully virtual. I look forward to connecting with you virtually.
