You’re responsible, reliable, and used to managing everything on your own, but internally, you feel overwhelmed, depleted, and like you’re running on empty.

I help high-achieving adults reduce anxiety, manage burnout, and quiet the inner critic that keeps you stuck in cycles of perfectionism and people-pleasing.

You don’t have to wait until things feel unmanageable to reach out. Early sessions focus on understanding what’s been weighing on you and clarifying what would be most helpful.

You’ll be able to view availability and schedule your first session online in just a few minutes using a HIPAA-secure scheduler.

Life looks “fine” on the outside, meanwhile you’re feeling exhausted on the inside.

You’re used to pushing through stress, showing up for others, and minimizing your own needs, until burnout and anxiety creep up and become impossible to ignore. Therapy offers space to slow down, make sense of what’s happening, and start making changes that feel realistic and sustainable.

Hi, I’m Jaclyn and I’m so glad you landed here. I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and founder of Aurea Life Therapy. I’m virtually based in Brea, California, and provide online therapy for high-achieving adults (18+) across California.

Many of the individuals I work with are capable, responsible, and often the one others rely on. They may be in demanding careers like healthcare or education, or managing the emotional load of caregiving and family responsibilities. While they’ve been functioning like this for some time, they often feel overwhelmed by anxiety, burnout, depression, or the constant pressure to hold everything together.

My background in medical social work has given me unique insight into the emotional weight carried by working professionals, patients, and caregivers.

Therapy with me is a place where you can be honest about what you’ve been carrying and begin to understand the patterns that keep you feeling stuck. Together we focus on practical strategies, emotional insight, and reconnecting with a more grounded version of you.
